DVD.!
New Hope is a quaint little town tucked into the heart of Bucks
County, PA. It is a town known for its beauty, culture…and
ghosts. That's right - ghosts!
The New
Hope Ghost Tours was founded 25 years ago by Adi-Kent Thomas Jeffrey,
a best selling author. Mrs. Jeffrey wrote books such as "The
Bermuda Triangle", "Ghosts in the Valley", "More
Ghosts in the Valley" and many more. There were no other ghost
tours around back in '82 so Mrs. Jeffrey flew to London to observe
theirs. Upon returning to Bucks County she started the New Hope
Ghost Tours.
Adele Gamble has been
with the New Hope Ghost Tours 24 of the 25 years and took over the
tours in the mid 80s after Mrs. Jeffrey retired to the Washington
DC area. Ms. Gamble runs the tour the same way that Mrs. Jeffrey
did 25 years ago.
The DVD will present
stories from the actual tour, as Gamble leads us through the streets
of New Hope and into the buildings and homes. It will also feature
re-creations of some of the stories.
The DVD will include
a bonus section that will include a biography on Adi-Kent Thomas
Jeffrey and how she started the New Hope Ghost Tour.
According
to Mrs. Jeffrey, "New Hope has more ghosts per square mile
than anywhere else in the world!"
